Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

The Feast of Pentecost is the commemoration of the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles on the fiftieth day following the Feast of the Glorious Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Armenian Church celebrates this feast 50 days following Easter Sunday. On this occasion on May 19, Divine Liturgy was celebrated in all Armenian churches. In the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin the celebrant was His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhanniasyan, Head of the Monastic Council of the Mother See and the Director of the Publishing Department.
