Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On August 15, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrated the Feast of Assumption of the Holy Virgin Mary. On the occasion of the feast, the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin attended the Divine Liturgy in St. Gayane Monastery of the Mother See. The celebrant was His Eminence Archbishop Eznik Petrosyan, General Secretary of the Armenian Bible Society. Following the Divine Liturgy the Blessing of the Grapes service was offered at the Open Alter of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin by His Grace Bishop Mushegh Babayan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother See. At the conclusion of the Blessing of the Grapes service, the blessed grapes were distributed to the faithful.
