Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On January 13, the Armenian Church celebrated the Feast Day of the Naming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. According to Jewish tradition, the infant Jesus was circumcised and given a name. On the Feast of Naming of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a Divine Liturgy is celebrated in all Armenian Churches. In the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin the celebrant was Rev. Fr. Shorhk Tonikyan.
