Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

Each year, on January 13, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast Day of the Naming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. According to Jewish tradition, the infant Jesus was circumcised and given a name. On the Feast of Naming of Our Lord Jesus Christ, a Divine Liturgy is celebrated in all Armenian Churches. On the eve of the feast, a special pre-feast service is offered. In the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin the celebrant was His Grace Bishop Hovnan Hakobyan, Grant Sacristan of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
