Feast Day of St. Vardan in the Mother See

On 07 February 2013, the Feast Day of St. Vardan the Commander and His 1036 Companions was observed in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin with the celebration of Divine Liturgy, under the presidency of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. This day is also the Naming Day of His Holiness Karekin II, for which a Pontiffical prayer was offered. Following the services, a special event was held in the auditorium of the Gevorkian Seminary Events Center, through the efforts of students of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary and the Yerevan State University Theological Faculty.
