Feast- day of St. John the Forerunner (the Baptist) and Bishop Atanagine

On 04 June, the Armenian Church commemorated the feast day of St. John the Forerunner (the Baptist) and Bishop Atanagine, which coincide with the pilgrimage day of the Shoghakat Monastery. On this occasion, the ecclesiastical procession accompanied by many pilgrims took the relics of St. John the Baptist to the Shoghakat Monastery, where Divine Liturgy was offered.
