On January 28, at the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera Theater, a special event dedicated to the 23rd Anniversary of the founding of the Armenian Armed Forces was held. His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians; President Serzh Sargisyan, of the Republic of Armenia; and other high ranking officials were in attendance.
