On February 13, eve of the of the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Temple a pre-feast service was offered in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin . His Holiness Karekin II, offered the service of blessing the four corners of the world (Andastan). The Andastan Service was followed by the ceremony of the lighting of the traditional fire, symbolizing the Light and Wisdom of Christ.
