On February 13, in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin on the ocassion of the Feast of the Presentation of our Lord Jesus Christ to the Temple, a pre-feast service was offered. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, blessed the four corners of the world (Andastan) in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin. The Andastan Service was followed by the ceremony of the lighting of the traditional fire, symbolizing the Light and Wisdom of Christ.
