Etchmiadzin Celebrates 2704th Anniversary

The town of Etchmiadzin marked its 2704th anniversary of esatblishment. It is symbolically celebrated on October 8. According to the tradition after the creation of the Armenian Alphabet, St. Mesrop Mashtots entered Vagharshapat (Etchmiadzin) on October 8, 405.
