Election of New Patriarch of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem

Archbishop Nourhan Manukyan, has been elected to serve as the 97th Patriarch of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem. He is replacing His Beautitide Archbishop Torkom Manougian, of blessed memory, who died at age 93 in October 2012. Patriarch-elect Archbishop Nourhan currently serves as the Grand Sacristan of the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem.
