Divine Liturgy in the Mother See on the Occasion of 20th Anniversary of the Armenian Army

On January 29 Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan celebrated a Divine Liturgy in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin on the occasion of 20th Anniversary of the Armenian Army. At the end of the liturgy Pontifical Encyclical of His Holiness Karekin II on the 20th Anniversary of the Armenian Army was read. After that His Holiness consecrated a special cross for the Army - the copy of Armenian King Ashot Yerkat's Cross, which also has a small particle of Christ's cross in the center.
