Delegation of ACT Alliance Visited the Mother See

On February 16, in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, received representative of the social aid group "Acting by Churches Together" Alliance (ACT Alliance) of the World Council of Churches. They were accompanied by Dr. Karen Nazarian, Director of the Armenia Round Table Foundation (ART) of the World Council of Churches. The activities of ACT Alliance are focused on overcoming poverty and providing relief for emergency situations world-wide. In 2010, the organization created a social- psychological support group, which main purpose is to provide social-psychological support for people in distress, and provide aid for disaster relief.
