Defense of Doctoral Thesis in the Mother See

On February 15, for the ecclesiastical degree of Archimandrite(vardapet), two members of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin: Fr. Sahak Shaqaryan and Fr. Aristakes Aivazyan , defended their doctoral theses before the doctoral examination committee in the Mother See. With the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, they will receive the rank of Archimandrite (Vardapet). The granting service will be held in the St. Mesrop Mashtots church of Oshakan.
