Defence of Theological thesis for the rank of Archimandrite

On March 24, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, Fr. Mesrop Parsamyan defended his theological thesis written to receive the rank of Archimandrite. The thesis was dedicated to the research on theological doctrine of St. Nersess the Graceful. By the decision of the Supreme Spiritual Council (17.03.2011) Rev. Fr. Mesrop Parsamian, Vice Chancellor of the Mother See, was appointed to serve as a Locum Tenens of the Armenian Diocese of Switzerland and to contribute to the reorganization of the Diocesan life and serve as a Spiritual pastor to the Armenian community in Geneva, starting from April 1.
