Cross-Stone Blessing Service

On November 4, 2012 in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin following the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, a Cross-Stone (khachkar) blessing service was offered under the presidency His Holiness, Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. The benefactor of the cross-stones is Hrachya Poghossian of St. Petersburg, Russia, in memory of Armenian heroes who died during the Artsakh war and the Great Patriotic War, and the victims who perished in the Spitak earthquake.
