Consecration of the newly built St. Hovhannes Mkrtich Church in Kotayk Diocese

On May 14, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, presided over the Service of Consecration for the St. Hovhannes Church, in the city Abovyan - Kotayk Diocese. The ceremony was attended by the presidents of Armenia and Belarus Serzh Sargsyan and Alexander Lukashenko. Among the many guests were also Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, ex-President Robert Kocharyan many high-rinking clergyman and state officials. The construction of the church has been financed by the Tsarukyan family.
