Consecration of the Church in Gugarq Diocese

The re-consecration of the 6th century Holy Cross Church of the Chichkhanavanq Monastery in the Shirakamut village of the Lori region, was offered by His Eminence Archbishop Sepuh Chuljyan, Primate of the Gugarq Diocese. The church was damaged during the devastating Spitak earthquake in 1988. The architect for the restoration was Mr. Stepan Nalbandyan.
