On April 24, a liturgy was served in St. Gayane Monastery of the Mother See, an intercessory service was held for the holy martyrs of the Armenian Genocide. Under the leadership of the Armenian Patriarch, the procession of clergy and faithful moved to the cross-stone (khachkar) of the Prayer of Pilgrimage in the yard of the Mayravank. The relic of the Holy Martyrs of the Armenian Genocide was taken out for worship.
