Commemoration of St. John the Forerunner (the Baptist) and Bishop Atanagine

On May 31 the Armenian Church commemorated the day when the relics of St. John the Forerunner (the Baptist) and Bishop Atanagine were transferred to Armenia. A Divine Litrugy was celebrated on the Commemoration day in the Shoghakat Monastery of Vagharshapat. Blessing of the Four Corners of the World (Andastan) service was offered at the conclusion Holy Service.
