Commemoration of St. Gregory the Illuminator's Tortures and Commitment to the Pit-2014

On April 05 Armenian Church celebrated the commemoration of St. Gregory the Illuminator's tortures and commitment to the pit. According to the Armenian Church Calendar, it is celebrated on the eve of the sixth Sunday during the period of Great Lent. On this occasion Divine Liturgy was celebrated in Armenian Churches. St. Gregory the Illuminator is recognized by all of Christendom as a Saint, and he is commemorated in all traditional Christian Churches.
