Commemoration day of St. John the Baptist and Job the Righteous

On 30 August, for the Commemoration day of St. John the Baptist and Job the Righteous; the famous Gospel of Sangibaran was brought to the Holy Shoghakat Monastery. The Gospel dates back to the XI-XII centuries and it was donated to Matenadaran during the Armenian immigration from Iran in 1972.
