Blessing of the ingredients for the Holy Muron

On September 13, 2015, His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians blessed the ingredients for the Holy Muron and mixed them with olive oil. Over three days, with the prayers of clergy prayers keeping vigil, the Holy Muron will be boiled and prepared. During the Blessing of the Holy Muron service, His Holiness will bless the Holy Muron with holy relics: the Holy Lance, St. Gregory the Illuminator’s right hand, and Relic of the True Cross.
