The Bible Society of Armenia was established in 1991 . Through the intiative of His Holiness Vasken I, Catholicos of All Armenians, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Armenian Church and the United Bible Society which outlines works on Bible translation, publication and dissemination.
