Bestowing of Medals in the Holy Transfiguration Mother Cathedral of Moscow

On November 16, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, visited the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhijevan, where on November 17 a solemn ceremony of bestowing medals was convened in the Holy Transfiguration Mother Cathedral of Moscow. Under the presidency of the Catholicos of All Armenians, Divine Liturgy was offered in the newly built Cathedral. Following the service His Holiness Karekin II granted the "St. Gregory the Illuminator" and "St. Nerses the Graceful" medals of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church to 122 benefactors of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and Nor Nakhijevan for their nation-preserving and church-building efforts.
