Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

According to the agreement signed between the RA Armed Forces and the Armenian Apostolic Church, the clergy have been serving in the Armenian army for 10 years. Their number is increasing year by year and now around 60 clergymen are serving in different military units. The task of the chaplain in the army is to keep the patriotic spirit awake among the soldiers, to raise the morale and psychological state, to familiarize them with Christian values.
