The Armenian community in Syria has suffered greatly since military actions began in 2011. Many Armenians were forced to abandon their homes and take shelter in Armenia. The Armenian Church led by His Holiness Karekin II, Catholicos of All Armenians, along with many benelovent societies announced a fundraising campaign to help the Armenian community in Syria.
