Armenian church of Varna

25.09.2012

The Saint Sargis Armenian Church of Varna was built in 1844. The church has been renovated twice. The last renovation was in 2002, when the Catholicos of All Armenians arrived in Bulgaria. There is an Armenian school next to the church, where teaching was conducted in Armenian until the mid-90s. Now the teaching is in Bulgarian, and there are Armenian classes only on Saturdays.
