26.09.2012
The 19th century Saint Astvatsatsin Armenian Church of Sofia was moved in 1935 due to the construction works of the city and is still functioning on the second floor of the building called "Haykakan Tun". Now in the center of the capital Sofia, the construction works of the new Church of the Holy Mother of God are underway, which is planned to be completed in 1-2 years. Unlike other Armenian churches in Bulgaria, the Sofia church will have a traditional Armenian style.
