Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

A series of events celebrating the 500 th anniversary of Armenian Typography has launched in the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin in 2009. "If not for the love of Holy Etchmiadzin towards Armenian literature, if not for the love of All Armenian Pontiffs for science and illustration, then perhaps we would not have been able to celebrate the 500th anniversary of Armenian Typography"- says Reverend Father Asoghik Karapetyan, Archivist for the Mother See. Starting in 2011 the Archives, Museums, Library and Manuscripts Depositary of the Mother See have been participating in a series of State celebrations.
