25th Anniversary of the Re-establishment of the Artsakh Diocese

On the Feast of the Holy Cross of Varak, the 25th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Artsakh Diocese was observed. Divine Liturgy was celebrated at the St. John the Baptist Church of the Gandzasar Monastery, by His Grace Bishop Mikael Ajapahyan, Primate of the Shirak Diocese. Mr. Bako Sahakyan, many veterans of the Artsakh war, and pilgrims from other countries were in attendance. His Eminence Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, Primate of the Artsakh Diocese was bestowed with the highest honor of the Artsakh Hero and Golden Eagle Order.
