1st Divine Liturgy of the New Year Celebeated in Mother Cathedral

On 01 January 2013, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, on the occasion of the New Year. The celebrant was Rev. Father Eghia Khachatryan. At the end of the Holy Liturgy a special pontifical service (hayrapetakan maghtanq) was offered under the presidency His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. Following the service, members of the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin gathered in the pontifical residence to receive blessings and congratulation on the New Year.
