The relic of Bishop Saint Blaise of Sebaste was presented to the Mother See

On September 9, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received Swiss-Armenian businessman and philanthropist Mr. Vahe Gabrash, who visited Holy Etchmiadzin to present the relic of the pan-Christian Bishop Saint Blaise of Sebaste (III-IV century) to the Mother See.
Handing over the reliquary of the Armenian saint to His Holiness Karekin II, Mr. Gabrash happily emphasized that he is donating it to Holy Etchmiadzin on the historic occasion of the Blessing of the Holy Muron and the re-consecration of the Mother Cathedral.
Then the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his pontifical love and blessings to Mr. Vahe Gabrash, highly appreciating the latter's zealous spirit, as well as his loyalty and devotion towards the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
The Catholicos of All Armenians also noted with satisfaction the useful services that the great philanthropist continuously renders to the homeland and the Armenian Church.
The reliquary of Bishop Saint Blaise of Sebaste was deposited in the Treasury House of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, where visiting religious pilgrims will have the opportunity to share in the blessing radiating from the Saint's relics.
