The "Let's Support Artsakh" Program of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin Launched
By order of His Holiness Karekin |II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; the "Let's Support Artsakh" Program of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has been approved which is amid at providing support to the distressed people of Artsakh and the families who were evacuated from the villages of Artsakh after the war and took refuge in Armenia.
The program will be coordinated by a committee head by His Eminence Archbishop Khajak Parsamyan; Pontifical Delegate of the Armenian Church in Western Europe, through the Social Services Office of the Mother See.
On this occasion, the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II has recently hold a video conference with the members of the commission.
His Holiness extended His paternal blessings and appreciation to the members, who in these difficult days, have assumed to bring their support to the Armenians of Artsakh within the framework of the program initiated by the Mother See.
The Armenian Pontiff reflected on the serious challenges facing Armenia and Artsakh in various spheres today, emphasizing that in the current conditions, the Armenian Church must do everything necessary to provide maximum support to our homeland and people.
In this regard, the Catholicos of All Armenians stressed the importance of the mission of the commission, expressing hope that the planned activity will gain nationwide coverage.
During the meeting, the steps to be taken in the near future, as well as issues related to the cooperation between the dioceses and national institutions of the Armenian Church were discussed.
