Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On May 20, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; sent a letter of condolence to the leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, in connection with the tragic death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ibrahim Raisi; Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and accompanying officials as a result of a helicopter accident.

His Holiness, on behalf of the Supreme Spiritual Council and the Brotherhood of the Mother See of the Holy Etchmiadzin, expressed his grief to the bereaved families of the victims and the people of Iran, asking that the Almighty give strength enough to overcome the difficult trial of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
