The Catholicos of All Armenians Received Youth from Artsakh
On September 8, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received about 35 young people from Artsakh, accompanied by the Primate of Artsakh Diocese, His Grace Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan.
Bishop Vrtanes, asking for the blessings of His Holiness, informed that the young people are in Armenia to continue their studies in different higher educational institutions of Yerevan.
At the meeting, the young Armenians presented to His Holiness the initiatives implemented by them, the purpose of which is to draw the attention of the Armenian and international community to the humanitarian disaster and security problems created in Artsakh.
Then the Catholicos of All Armenians, conveying his paternal love and blessing to the young Artsakh citizens, expressed his appreciation to them for their efforts and courageous spirit in overcoming the challenges facing Artsakh.
His Holiness, referring to the situation in Artsakh with concern, urged the young people to continue their struggle for the right to a free, independent and safe life of Artsakh Armenians with an unbreakable will.
The Patriarch of All Armenians also expressed confidence that the children of the Armenian nation will be able to overcome all the challenges and trials they face with the help of God and the support of the international community.
At the conclusion, the Armenian Patriarch answered the questions of the Artsakh youth, which were related to the settlement of the Artsakh problem, the works carried out by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin aimed at preserving the spiritual and cultural heritage of Artsakh.
