On September 18, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the voluntary young people involved in the organizational work of the ceremony of the blessing of the Holy Muron and the re-consecration of the Mother Church, accompanied by the spiritual Dean of the World Youth Association of the Armenian Church, director of the central office, Rev. Fr. Archimandrite Tovma Khachatryan.

About 120 young people were recruited for volunteer work from the "Pan-Armenian Volunteer Union" NGO, church-loving youth unions of different dioceses of Armenia and ACYOWorld.

At the meeting, the Chairman of the Ceremonial Committee for the re-consecration of the Mother Cathedral, the Blessing of the Holy Muron and related events, His Eminence Archbishop Vasken Mirzakhanyan, asking for the blessings of His Holiness, conveyed information about the work to be carried out by young people during the sacred ceremonies.

Then the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his pontifical blessings to the Armenians, highly appreciating their willingness for their voluntary participation in the organization of historical events for the Armenian people and the Church. In this regard, the Armenian Patriarch emphasized the role of young people in the mission of the Church, urging them to fulfill their duties with a high awareness, a great sense of responsibility and properly during the ceremonies of the blessing of the Holy Muron and the re-consecration of the Mother Cathedral.

His Holiness also talked with the volunteers about the importance of paying attention to the spiritual life, ecclesiasticism, the need to live a prayerful life, and the importance of sharing the national and spiritual values created by our holy fathers.
