The Catholicos of All Armenians received the students participating in the AGBU Global Leadership Program 30.06.2024

On June 30, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received students participating in the Yerevan Global Leadership Program of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), led by Mrs. Gayane Manukyan, Director of the AGBU Diaspora Youth Programs.

At the meeting, Mrs. Manukyan presented to His Holiness the AGBU Global Leadership Program, within the framework of which Armenian youths from all over the world get the opportunity to gain professional and practical experience in their homeland, as well as get acquainted with Armenian culture and spiritual heritage.

Afterwards, the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his blessings and commandement to the audience, highly appreciating similar programs implemented by the Armenian General Benevolent Union, thanks to which Armenians who have grown up in different countries get the opportunity to unite in the Motherland, enrich their professional experience and become familiar with the native reality.

The Armenian Patriarch expressed his confidence that despite the challenges in the country, the impressions received from the homeland will become a source of new inspiration for young people to return to their communities more strengthened and continue their mission in the national life. In this regard, His Holiness urged the young people to be actively involved in the spiritual and church life, to keep their love for the motherland strong, to bring benefit to the local Armenian communities as well as to the welfare of the motherland with the knowledge they have acquired.

At the conclusion, the Patriarch of All Armenians answered the questions of the attendees, which were related to the educational programs of the Church, the challenges facing the motherland and their overcoming.
