The Catholicos of All Armenians received the Primate of the Diocese of Innsbruck of the Catholic Church
On May 12, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the delegation led by Bishop Herman Gletter, Primate of the Diocese of Innsbruck (Austria) of the Catholic Church, which included representatives of "Caritas Austria" and "Armenian Caritas" organizations.
At the meeting, the Armenian Patriarch, referring to the challenges facing the forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians, the security threats of Armenia and the problems of preserving Artsakh's spiritual and cultural heritage, expressed his appreciation to the organization for its support to Armenia and the Armenian people.
During the conversation, the Catholicos of All Armenians also referred to the fraternal relations and interaction between the Armenian Apostolic Church and the Roman Catholic Church.
In turn, Bishop Herman Gletter informed His Holiness that the purpose of the visit to Armenia is to further strengthen the cooperation of "Caritas Austria" and "Armenian Caritas" organizations and to bring their support and solidarity to the Armenian people.
