Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On May 28, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the participants of the Pan-Armenian conference of ARF Hay Dat commissions and offices, under the leadership of ARF Bureau representative and chairman of the Central Council of Hay Dat commissions, Hakob Ter-Khachaturyan.

Kiro Manoyan, the head of the Hay Dat Political Affairs Office of the ARF Bureau, while introducing the guests, conveyed comprehensive information to His Holiness about the work done by the conference.

Welcoming the guests, the Patriarch of All Armenians emphasized the importance of the work of the conference in the matter of protecting the rights of the motherland and the nation's children. His Holiness made a private reference to the existing problems facing the motherland and the need to unite efforts to overcome them. The strengthening of Armenia-Diaspora ties and the use of national potential for the sake of strengthening the motherland and creating a safe life were especially important.

His Holiness expressed his appreciation to the ARF Hay Dat Office for the efforts made in the direction of recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide, raising and pursuing the just rights of Artsakh Armenians, and other accomplishments for the benefit of the country and the nation.

At the conclusion, His Holiness answered the questions of the guests, which were related to the problems of preserving the spiritual and cultural heritage of Artsakh, the work of the Mother See in the return of Armenian prisoners of war, and inter-church relations.
