The Catholicos of All Armenians Received the Members of the Initiative Group of the "Mother Armenia" People's Movement

On June 16, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; recieved members of the initiative group of the “Mother Armenia” people’s movement, under the leadership of Mr. Andranik Tevanyan, Coordinator of the movement.
At the meeting, Mr. Andranik Tevanyan presented to His Holiness the reasons for the formation of the movement and the vision of ways to overcome the external and internal challenges facing Armenia and Artsakh.
Afterwards, the Catholicos of All Armenians conveyed his Paternal blessings to the attendees, emphasizing national unity and unanimity in dealing with existing problems. His Holiness noticed such initiatives as a direct expression of worries and concerns about the prevailing situation. His Holiness Karekin II emphasized that the Armenian Church should continue to make efforts to bring the Motherland out of trials by consolidating the national potential and to strengthen the hope and optimism for the future in the souls of our people's children.
During the conversation, a reflection was made on the security issues of Armenia and Artsakh, the moral and psychological state of the society, Church-state relations, the assistance provided to the people of Artsakh and the activities of the Artsakh Diocese.
