Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On June 29, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received the management and medical staff of the "Izmirlyan" Medical Center, headed by Ph.D. Armen Charchyan, the Executive Director of the Medical Center and under the guidance of the spiritual Dean of the center, Fr. Hovhannes Torgomyan.

At the meeting, His Holiness Karekin II conveyed his blessings and appreciation to the attendees for their national interest and God-pleasing mission in the field of health care, stressing with satisfaction that the latter use their professional abilities and skills for the recovery of people in need of treatment.

The Catholicos of All Armenians emphasized that on the way to its mission of saving souls, the Church has always emphasized the physical health of a person as a condition for living God-given life to the fullest and making it more valuable with good deeds. In this regard, His Holiness, referring to the activities of the "Izmirlian" medical center, noted that the center, being an institution operating under the auspices of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, is called to provide its unconditional service to the children of the nation with greater responsibility and dedication.

At the conclusion, the Catholicos of All Armenians asked for God's help and support to the medical workers in their grateful mission.
