The Catholicos of All Armenians Received Pilgrims of the Armenian Diocese of Brazil
On October 3, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received pilgrims of the Armenian Diocese of Brazil accompanied by the Primate of the Diocese of Brazil His Grace Bishop Narek Berberyan.
Bishop Narek, asking for the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, mentioned that the Brazilian-Armenian pilgrims visited various sanctuaries in Armenia and became acquainted with the Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage.
Conveying his blessings to the Armenians, His Holiness highly appreciated the service of the diocesan Primate and spiritual servants of the Diocese, as well as the commitment to lead the Armenians on a pilgrimage to the Homeland.
At the meeting, the Armenian Patriarch referred to the difficulties and challenges facing the forcibly displaced Artsakh Armenians, emphasizing that the Armenian Church provides its active support to the Artsakh Armenians to overcome the difficult social problems.
In this regard, His Holiness urged the pilgrims to contribute to the preservation of the Armenian spiritual and cultural heritage of Artsakh, as well as to the care of the needs of the deprived Armenians.
