The Catholicos of All Armenians Received Members of the "Maral" song-dance Ensemble of Constantinople

On August 7, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received members of the Armenian song-dance ensemble "Maral" from Constantinople, who arrived in Armenia on a pilgrimage.
Conveying his Patriarchal blessings to the pilgrims, His Holiness expressed his satisfaction on the occasion of their visit to the Mother See. The Armenian Patriarch confirmed that the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople played a major role in preserving national, cultural, spiritual and moral values.
In his remarks, the Catholicos of All Armenians also mentioned that he has always witnessed the strong faith and unconditional love of the Armenian community of Constantinople towards the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. In this regard, His Holiness, recalling his Pontifical visit to Constantinople, happily noted that despite all kinds of difficulties and trials, the Armenians of Constantinople have kept their faith, sanctities and the consciousness of national identity strong.
At the conclusion, the Patriarch of All Armenians wished the Armenian pilgrims of Constantinople to live peacefully and safely under God's blessing, preserve their native heritage and further build the Armenian life of Constantinople.
