Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

On May 4, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; received ARF "Nikol Aghbalyan" student union members accompanied by ARF Supreme Body member Gegham Manukyan.

At the meeting, Mr. Manukyan conveyed information to His Holiness the Patriarch about the history of the creation of the union and its current activities. 

Then His Holiness, welcoming and blessing the young members of the union, expressed his appreciation for their patriotic accomplishments. The Armenian Patriarch noted that the sacrifice of our children martyred for the sake of the motherland should be meaningful with the patriotism and brave spirit of every Armenian, so that it is possible to build a safe, prosperous and progressive homeland.

His Holiness expressed confidence that thanks to strong faith in God, courage and unity, the Armenian people will be able to overcome the challenges and trials facing the motherland. In this regard, the Armenian Patriarch urged the young people to be united, firmly clinging to national values, to be actively involved in spiritual and church life, to keep strong love and zeal for the motherland, to be guided by the bright example of their ancestors and not to weaken in the face of the difficulties facing our country.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Armenian Patriarch answered the questions of the young people, which were related to the Church's spiritual and nation-protecting mission, ways to overcome the challenges facing the homeland.
