The Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople arrived at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin 28.10.2022

On October 28, His Eminence Archbishop Sahak Mashalyan, Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople arrived at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

On this occasion, the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin led the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople in a procession to St. John the Baptist and St. Vardan Chapel-baptistery, where the "Hrashapar" ceremony was performed.

His Grace Bishop Moushegh Babayan, Grand Sacristan of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, greeted and welcomed Patriarch Sahak on behalf of the Brotherhood of the Mother See.

Afterwards, the Armenian Patriarch of Constantinople, thanking God for being in the spiritual center of Armenians again, conveyed his blessing and best wishes to the Brotherhood of Holy Etchmiadzin.

In the coming days, His Eminence Patriarch Sahak will also take part in the meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council to be convened at the Mother See.
