Shushi's "Varanda" children's choir visited the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin
On September 6, in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, with the blessings of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; His Eminence Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan, Director of the External Relations and Protocol Department received Shushi's "Varanda" children's and youth choir, accompanied by the founder-leader of the choir, Mr. Zakar Keshishyan.
"Varanda" children's and youth choir, which consists entirely of Artsakh Armenians, performs concert programs in different regions of Armenia under the title "Singing Artsakh".
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Keshishyan introduced the guests to His Eminence, conveying information about the foundation and activities of the choir.
Following that, Archbishop Nathan, welcoming the audience, conveyed to them the paternal love and blessing of the Catholicos of All Armenians and expressed his appreciation to the members of the choir for giving joy, love, comfort and hope for the future to Armenians with their beautiful performances in difficult and hard days for the motherland.
The Archbishop also urged the young people to always keep Shushi alive in their souls, to love their native Artsakh, to live and create with Artsakh.
