Armenian Apostolic Holy Church The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin

His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; has declared 2018 as the Year of Youth.

From February 19-20, under the presidency of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Spiritual Advisor of the Pan Armenian Church Youth Organization; a meeting was held in the Mother See, of the organizational group for the programs being implemented during the Year of Youth under the theme "Towards the Homeland, towards Holy Etchmiadzin”.

Attending the meeting were His Grace Bishop Tatev Hakobyan, Primate of the Armenian Diocese of Romania; Rev. Fr. Avetis Abovyan (Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America); Mr. Gevorg Mkrtchyan, Director of ACYO Central Office; Mr. Vardan Poghosyan, representative of Youth Council of the Armenian Diocese of Russia and New Nakhijevan; as well as members of the ACYO working group of Education and Science.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed organizational issues related to the events scheduled for July 4-8, 2018, within the events for the Year of Youth.
