On the occasion of the nationwide prayer day for Artsakh, various sanctuaries and sacred relics will be brought out

Under the chairmanship of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; October 1 has been declared a national day of prayer for Artsakh, on the occasion of which a special order of prayer will be held at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and in all churches of Armenia and the Diaspora.
On the occasion of the national prayer, sacred relics will be taken from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin for the spiritual consolation and blessing of our people.
The Divine Liturgy will be offered in the St. Trdat Open Altar, at 10:30 a.m. in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, presided over by the Patriarch of All Armenians. On this occasion, the Holy Lance Geghard will be brought out, which will remain in the open Altar for the worship of the faithful until the Evening Service.
