November 22 – Day of Remembrance

His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians; and the President of the Republic of Armenia Mr. Armen Sarkissian; a few days ago issued a call to declare November 22 the Day of Remembrance of the Heroes who died for the defense of Homeland in the Artsakh Liberation War. On this occasion a decission was made to hold a commemorating service in all Armenian Churches around the world. In the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, under the presidency of the Armenian Pontiff; a commemorating service will be held, following the Divine Liturgy at 13:30, at the St. Trdat Open-Air Altar.
